NFL Fantasy Mate currently uses no account system or advertising tracker. The Watchlist is stored locally in your own browser, while Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate website usage and performance information without using analytics cookies or local storage.
Saved player IDs and the “since last visit” comparison baseline remain in your browser. They are not sent to our servers.
Aggregate traffic and performance analytics are provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is designed to operate without analytics cookies or local storage and without tracking individual visitors across websites.
LOCAL STORAGE
How the Watchlist is stored.
The Watchlist uses the browser's localStorage feature so that saved players remain available on the same browser and device without requiring an account or a server-side user database.
Stores the numeric IDs of players you have chosen to follow, together with a local update timestamp.
Stores the previous Watchlist snapshot used to calculate “since last visit” changes on your device.
These values remain until you remove them, clear the Watchlist, clear site data in your browser, or the browser removes local storage.
Server transmission: the contents of these local-storage entries are not transmitted to NFL Fantasy Mate. The website downloads public static player data and compares it with your locally saved IDs inside the browser.
COOKIES & TRACKING
Why there is no consent banner today.
The current Fantasy Mate application does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies, profiling cookies or equivalent non-essential tracking technologies. The browser-local Watchlist storage is used solely to provide a feature explicitly requested by the user. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for aggregate website usage and performance measurement and, according to Cloudflare, is designed to operate without analytics cookies or local storage and without tracking individual visitors across websites.
Cloudflare may, depending on the security features or challenge mechanisms triggered for a particular request, use cookies that Cloudflare classifies as strictly necessary for traffic management, security and protection against malicious activity. NFL Fantasy Mate does not use those security cookies for advertising or profiling. Cloudflare documents these technologies in its Cloudflare Cookies documentation.
Because the current site does not deploy non-essential tracking tools that require an accept/reject choice, NFL Fantasy Mate currently provides this information notice rather than a tracking-consent banner. If advertising, profiling or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced later, the site will update this notice and implement the appropriate consent controls before those tools are activated where required.
Third-party websites reached through external links may use their own cookies or other technologies. Their practices are governed by their own notices and are outside NFL Fantasy Mate's control.
WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Aggregate traffic and performance measurement.
NFL Fantasy Mate uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and performance. This information helps evaluate traffic levels, page usage and technical performance so the site can be maintained and improved.
Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first analytics that does not use analytics cookies or browser local storage and does not track individual visitors across Cloudflare customers. NFL Fantasy Mate does not use this service to build advertising profiles or identify individual visitors.

HOSTING & TECHNICAL DATA
Website delivery and security.
NFL Fantasy Mate is delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. As part of normal web delivery, security and abuse prevention, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser or user-agent information, traffic-routing information and security-related signals.
The purpose of this processing is to deliver the requested website, maintain availability and performance, and protect the service against abuse and malicious traffic. Where NFL Fantasy Mate determines the purposes of such processing, the intended legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable public website and, where applicable, taking steps necessary to provide the service requested by the visitor.
Cloudflare acts in different data-protection roles depending on the information and service involved. Its handling of end-user information, international processing and safeguards is described in its Privacy Policy and related contractual documentation. Technical data retention depends on the applicable Cloudflare service, configuration and policy; NFL Fantasy Mate does not operate a separate application database containing the browser-local Watchlist.
EXTERNAL SERVICES & LINKS
External data sources are not visitor trackers.
NFL Fantasy Mate uses published football and market data from sources identified on the Data Sources section. Those datasets are incorporated into static Fantasy Mate files; visiting a Fantasy Mate analytical page does not require your browser to contact nflverse, FantasyCalc or Pro Football Reference for those data values.
The site also contains normal outbound links to services such as FantasyCalc, nflverse, Pro Football Reference and Amazon. If you follow an external link, the destination service may process information according to its own privacy and cookie policies.
PERSONAL DATA, RETENTION & RIGHTS
What NFL Fantasy Mate does not currently ask you for.
The public website currently has no user accounts, login system, newsletter signup or contact form, and the Watchlist does not require your name or email address. NFL Fantasy Mate therefore does not intentionally collect identity information through those features.
The two Watchlist local-storage entries remain on the visitor's own device until they are removed by the visitor, the browser clears them, or the browser's storage is otherwise reset. Technical network, security and aggregate analytics information processed through Cloudflare is retained according to the relevant Cloudflare service, configuration and applicable policy.
If the service later introduces accounts, subscriptions, newsletters, forms or other features that collect personal information, this notice will be expanded before those features are activated.
Where applicable, data-protection law may provide rights concerning personal information processed by the website operator, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection depending on the circumstances, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. In Italy, information about the supervisory authority is available from the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
