Football First
Every analysis begins with football performance. Before asking what the market thinks, we ask what the player has actually shown on the field.
ABOUT NFL FANTASY MATE
NFL Fantasy Mate was built on a simple idea: better fantasy decisions start with a better understanding of football.
Many fantasy tools focus on fantasy points, rankings and market sentiment. Those are valuable, but they tell only part of the story.
NFL Fantasy Mate separates what happens on the field from how the fantasy market values it. Opportunity, performance, direction, team environment and market context are treated as different pieces of the same decision.
NFL Fantasy Mate does not tell you what decisions to make. It gives you better information to make them yourself.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
01
Every analysis begins with football performance. Before asking what the market thinks, we ask what the player has actually shown on the field.
02
Statistics never exist in isolation. Role changes, offensive environment, supporting teammates and recent trends all help explain why a player's performance is changing.
03
The fantasy market creates opportunities. Understanding where football evaluation and market perception agree, or where they differ, helps identify both value and risk.
OUR GOAL
NFL Fantasy Mate was designed to support decision making, not replace it.
Rather than producing a single ranking or telling users exactly what to do, the platform provides multiple perspectives that help answer questions like:
The final decision always belongs to the manager.
DATA SOURCES & ATTRIBUTION
NFL Fantasy Mate combines published football data with external dynasty market values, then applies its own calculations, aggregation rules and analytical models.
FOOTBALL DATA
Football data used by NFL Fantasy Mate is sourced primarily from nflverse datasets. Fantasy Mate cleans, aggregates and transforms those inputs into its own metrics, categories, trends and contextual views.
The nflverse-data repository is published under CC BY 4.0. Individual upstream datasets may carry source-specific terms documented by nflverse.
Snap-count metrics, including offensive snaps and snap share where shown, are sourced from Pro Football Reference via nflverse.
DYNASTY MARKET DATA
Dynasty market values are sourced from FantasyCalc. Fantasy Mate uses those values as inputs to independent analytics including market movement, drawdown, market state and market-versus-production comparisons.
FantasyCalc is the source of the underlying market values. Fantasy Mate's derived analytics, classifications and presentation are independently produced by NFL Fantasy Mate.
NFL Fantasy Mate is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by nflverse, FantasyCalc, the NFL, or its member clubs.
AN EVOLVING PROJECT
New analytical models, educational resources and research tools are developed with one goal in mind: helping fantasy managers make better decisions through a deeper understanding of the game.
The platform will continue to grow, but its philosophy will remain the same.
Football first.
Market aware.
Better decisions.
